Our Story
Heart of the Valley Services for Seniors, Inc. was built on a simple but powerful belief: with the right support, older adults can thrive independently in the comfort of their own homes.
Our founders recognized that something as simple as a ride to an appointment or a friendly visit could make a meaningful difference in a senior’s life. With that vision, we began connecting seniors who needed a hand with people ready to lend one. What started as small gestures of neighborly kindness grew into a trusted network of advocates, volunteers, and community partners.

Who We Are Today
For nearly four decades, Heart of the Valley has been committed to facilitating and supporting independent living for seniors.
While we remain a small, focused agency, our reach has expanded. Today, we proudly serve older adults residing across the West Santa Clara Valley and we work side-by-side with fellow nonprofits and government agencies to ensure local seniors can access the resources they need.
